A stressed father of eight, Brian Amaitaiti, 56, was sentenced for assault with a weapon after chasing a teenager with a revving chainsaw due to loud music from the neighbor’s house in Raumanga. Although found not guilty of threats to kill and possession of an offensive weapon, the incident led to his trial in the Whangārei District Court.
