Firefighters work to contain rapidly moving blaze in California gold mining town

TUOLUMNE COUNTY, Calif. (AP)

A rapidly spreading wildfire, part of the TCU September Lightning Complex, has burned homes in the historic Chinese Camp Town, forcing evacuations and growing to 10 square miles with no containment. The fire, ignited by lightning, has damaged multiple properties, prompting requests for additional firefighting resources, but there have been no reported injuries or fatalities.
