Google will reveal its Gemini smart home plans (and hardware) next month

Google is set to update its smart home ecosystem on October 1st, revealing that “Gemini is coming to Google Home,” which will eventually replace Google Assistant, enhancing user interaction with natural language. Alongside this announcement, new hardware is anticipated, including a revamped Nest Cam and Doorbell with 2K support, and an undisclosed Nest speaker.
