Russia and China have signed a legally binding memorandum to develop the Power of Siberia 2 gas pipeline, which will transport an additional 50 billion cubic meters of gas annually from Russia to China via Mongolia, enhancing their energy cooperation and reducing China’s reliance on U.S. LNG imports.
