From Puri to Delhi: Jagannath Rath Yatra wheels to adorn Parliament; LS speaker Om Birla gives nod

Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla has approved the installation of three wheels from the Rath Yatra chariots of Lord Jagannath, Devi Subhadra, and Lord Balabhadra at the Parliament premises, following a proposal from the Shree Jagannath Temple Administration during his visit to Puri. This will be the second cultural installation in the new Parliament, symbolizing Odisha’s traditions, after the Sengol was placed by Prime Minister Modi in 2023.
