Australia has expelled Iran’s ambassador and three officials, alleging Iran orchestrated antisemitic attacks in Sydney and Melbourne, including arson at a cafe and a synagogue linked to Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. Prime Minister Albanese described these incidents as “extraordinary and dangerous acts of aggression,” marking the first ambassador expulsion since World War II, while Australia will designate the IRGC as a terrorist organization.
