At least 31 people, including seven children and a pregnant woman, were killed in artillery shelling at the Abu Shouk displacement camp in El-Fasher, North Darfur, with the Sudanese Doctors’ Network blaming the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF) for the attack. The ongoing conflict between the RSF and the army has resulted in over 20,000 deaths and 14 million displaced since April 2023, exacerbating the humanitarian crisis in the region.
