Petrol tanker crash south of Rotorua kills one, SH5 closed

One person has died following a petrol tanker accident south of Rotorua early this morning, resulting in the closure of State Highway 5 with diversions in place. The Serious Crash Unit is on-site to investigate, while contractors are clearing debris and spilled fuel from the highway.
