Home invasion suspect kills country music singer’s mother in Virginia: Officials

A fatal home invasion in Virginia’s Shenandoah Valley resulted in the death of 62-year-old Holly Hatcher, mother of country singer Spencer Hatcher, who has since canceled several shows. Her husband, Michael Hatcher, shot the intruder, Kevin Moses Walker, who had no prior criminal history, after Walker fatally attacked Holly with a knife.
