A 30-year-old man has been charged with murder and attempted murder following the death of 56-year-old Stephen Brannigan and the serious assault of Father John Murray at St Patrick’s Church in Downpatrick, Northern Ireland. Father Murray was attacked with a glass bottle while preparing for a service, and shortly after, Brannigan was found dead in a nearby home.
