Engineering firm Obelisk Industrial goes bust, BNZ and Kiwibank among creditors owed $11m

A Northland engineering firm, Obelisk Industrial, has gone into liquidation due to the director Steve Culham’s alleged misappropriation and lack of governance, with debts totaling $11 million. The company, employing around 100 staff, operated a fabrication plant in Ruakākā and was managed by Culham, who is also the sole shareholder’s partner.
