Kabosu, the Shiba Inu behind the famous Doge meme and Dogecoin, passed away at 18 years old. She died peacefully at home in Sakura, Japan, under her owner’s care.

Originally rescued from an animal shelter, Kabosu became a global sensation with her iconic “much wow” expression. Her image was widely used in memes and even became the face of the popular cryptocurrency Dogecoin.
