Federal Ag Minister’s Indonesia visit leads to signing of wheat protocol and export of rendered products

Australia will resume exporting animal-rendered products to Indonesia after a seven-year hiatus, following Federal Agriculture Minister Julie Collins’ successful trade visit. During her trip, a bilateral protocol was signed allowing six Australian establishments to export rendered products, valued at over $100 million annually, alongside agreements on wheat and biosecurity cooperation.
