A CRPF constable, Tamil Selvan, was arrested in Chennai after he attempted to discuss the murder of his wife, Uma Maheshwari, whom he beheaded over suspicions of infidelity on July 31 in Tuticorin. He had previously taken their two children to his father-in-law’s house and had been under surveillance for his wife’s fidelity prior to the crime.
