Job Cuts at Recruit Holdings

Recruit Holdings, the parent company of job search firms Indeed and Glassdoor, is laying off approximately 1,300 employees, about 6% of its workforce, as it pivots towards artificial intelligence. The layoffs will primarily impact research and development and sustainability teams in the U.S., while Glassdoor will be merged into Indeed, with CEO Christian Sutherland-Wong stepping down.
