Vandals damage historic graves at Auckland’s St Stephen’s Chapel

At least eight graves, some up to 150 years old, have been vandalized at St Stephen’s Chapel in Auckland, a registered category 1 heritage site. Very Reverend Anne Mills reported that around 12 graves were significantly damaged, with many made of sandstone and marble, resulting in shattered remains.
