The Pentagon has announced that US Air Force strikes on three major Iranian nuclear facilities have delayed Tehran’s uranium enrichment program by nearly two years, according to Defense Department spokesperson Sean Parnell. Despite this assessment, analysts caution that Iran retains the capability to produce weapon-grade uranium, and doubts remain about the extent of the damage inflicted on the facilities.
