GE Appliances is accelerating its plan to move jobs back to the U.S., driven by U.S. trade policy and tariffs on imports from China, according to executive Lee Lagomarcino. The company announced a $490 million investment in a Kentucky plant to create 800 jobs, aiming to enhance local manufacturing and development, with operations expected to start by early 2027.
