Violence in Sinaloa

In Sinaloa, Mexican authorities discovered twenty bodies, including several decapitated, amid ongoing violence between rival drug cartels vying for control over drug trafficking routes. The violence has escalated following the July 2024 arrest of cartel leaders, resulting in over 1,200 deaths this year and highlighting the severe impact of organized crime in Mexico, which has claimed around 480,000 lives since 2006.
