From July 1, minimum wage will increase by 3.5% to $24.95 per hour nationally and 3.75% in Western Australia, benefitting 2.9 million workers. Additionally, superannuation contributions will rise to 12%, parental leave will extend to 24 weeks, but utility bills will increase by 2.5%, along with motor vehicle charges and the Emergency Services Levy by 3.3% and 5%, respectively.
