Twenty people, including eight adults and twelve juveniles, were injured by a lightning strike while swimming at Dominion Beach Park in South Carolina. The incident, which occurred around 5 p.m. on Tuesday, led to eighteen individuals being treated at the scene and twelve hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries; all are expected to recover.
