The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission has approved a 13.3% increase in stamp prices for ordinary small letters, raising the cost from $1.50 to $1.70, with a final decision pending from Communications Minister Anika Wells. This increase, set to take effect on July 17, is a response to declining letter volumes, although Australia Post continues to thrive in online shopping and parcel delivery.
