Ford is recalling nearly 200,000 Mustang Mach-E SUVs from 2021 to 2025 due to a software glitch that may trap passengers, particularly children, in the back seat when the battery is low. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) reported complaints from six customers, prompting Ford to address the issue with a software update expected by September 29, while also recalling over 300,000 Explorers and Lincoln Aviators for separate safety concerns.
