Goliath, a 135-year-old Galapagos tortoise at Zoo Miami, celebrated his first Father’s Day after becoming a father for the first time when one of eight eggs hatched on June 4. Goliath, who has lived at the zoo since 1981, is part of a species endangered by human exploitation and habitat loss, and his new hatchling is thriving in a separate enclosure.
