Australian journalist hit by ‘rubber bullet’

An Australian foreign correspondent was injured while reporting in Los Angeles, struck by what is believed to be a rubber bullet. Lauren Tomasi of Channel Nine was hit in the leg as a law enforcement officer fired towards news cameras during ongoing protests against immigration raids that have escalated for three days, leading to vehicle fires and looting. Additionally, a British news photographer also suffered a leg injury from a non-lethal bullet, requiring emergency surgery.
