Campervan driver Daniel Daly fined for head-butting 71-year-old, dangerous driving on SH1 in South Island

A campervan driver, Daniel Juan Daly, head-butted a 71-year-old man who confronted him about his dangerous driving on SH1 in the lower South Island last September. The victim had been following Daly and witnessed him executing a risky overtaking maneuver that nearly caused a collision with an oncoming vehicle. After observing Daly pull over and strike a passing truck, the victim decided to address the reckless behavior, resulting in the violent encounter.
