A runaway pet zebra named Ed, who was on the loose for over a week in Tennessee, was safely captured on Sunday after being found in a pasture in Christiana. The Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that Ed was airlifted by helicopter back to an animal trailer, following several sightings and social media posts that turned him into an internet sensation, with memes depicting his adventures. His escapade began when he arrived in the area on May 30, shortly before his owner reported him missing the next day.
