He clarified that if he contests the upcoming assembly elections, it would solely be to strengthen his party’s performance, not to pursue the chief minister’s role. Paswan predicted a successful outcome for the NDA under Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s leadership and hinted at contesting from a constituency in the Shahabad region.
