On a Ryanair flight from Berlin to Milan, eight passengers, including a two-year-old and a woman with a head injury, were injured due to severe turbulence caused by bad weather, prompting a diversion to Memmingen Airport in southern Germany. Three individuals were hospitalized while others received on-site treatment; the captain had requested medical assistance before landing safely. Ryanair apologized and arranged alternative transport to Milan after the Southern Bavaria Aviation Authority denied an onward flight that night, with a total of 179 passengers and six crew members on board.
