Michelin’s New Sustainable Tyres
Michelin is set to launch a new range of slick tyres for the World Endurance Championship (WEC) and IMSA SportsCar Championship next year, made from 50% sustainable materials. The French tyre manufacturer has exceeded its initial goal of 40% renewable and recycled components for the tyres used in the Hypercar category in WEC and GTP in IMSA. This advancement highlights Michelin’s commitment to sustainability in motorsport while enhancing performance standards.
