Patrick Waite, 77, confessed to killing his wife, stepson, and mother-in-law during a 911 call from his home in Haubstadt, Indiana. Following a heated argument over their home ownership, Waite shot his wife Alma, 61, and her family members, resulting in three fatalities and one critical injury. Charged with three counts of murder and one count of attempted murder, Waite expressed remorse, acknowledging the gravity of his actions and stating that he does not deserve to live.
