Body of British hiker, 36, found months after going missing in Italian Dolomites

The body of British hiker Aziz Ziriat, 36, has been found in the Dolomites after he and his friend, Samuel Harris, 35, went missing on New Year’s Day while planning to climb a 3,000m mountain. Samuel’s body was discovered a week later, covered in snow, along with Aziz’s belongings nearby. The search for Aziz was complicated by harsh weather, but rescuers eventually located his remains on May 31, following the alarm raised by their families when the friends missed their return flight to the UK on January 6.
