Indiana Teen Arrested for Homemade Explosives

An Indiana 19-year-old, Ahnna Tipton, was arrested after authorities found homemade explosive devices in her backpack while transporting her for evaluation. The devices, concealed in Monster Energy drink bottles, were identified as improvised incendiary devices intended for detonation at her former high school. Tipton admitted to assembling the devices and was charged with possession of a destructive device; her bond is set at $50,000 with an initial hearing scheduled for June 4.
