They called for restraint and prioritizing wisdom to avoid further conflicts that hinder cooperation and development efforts.
The President and the Secretary-General reviewed the situation in the Gaza Strip, emphasizing the need for an immediate ceasefire to prevent humanitarian tragedies among civilians, ensure the flow of aid, and allow international organizations to carry out their humanitarian duties. They stressed the importance of moving towards a comprehensive and just peace based on the two-state solution for lasting security and stability in the region.
