Shu Man Poon, 43, was sentenced to life in prison for the double murder of Fuk-Fu Joseph Kwok and Mei Han Chong, after pleading guilty to the offenses committed in November 2023. He must serve a minimum of 19 years before being eligible for parole. Suppression orders are in place pending the retrial of his co-defendant, Lok Fung Lorrence Li, scheduled for August 2026.
