UK police have charged 53-year-old Paul Doyle with seven offences, including dangerous driving and causing grievous bodily harm with intent, for allegedly ramming a car into crowds celebrating Liverpool’s Premier League title on Monday. The incident, which occurred in the northwestern city, resulted in injuries to 79 people aged between nine and 78. Doyle has been remanded in custody and is scheduled to appear before Liverpool Magistrates’ Court on Friday, according to Merseyside Police’s assistant chief constable, Jenny Sims.
