A chicken shop owner, Musher Saleh, has pleaded not guilty to threatening federal election candidate Jamal Daoud, who accused him of making death threats in Arabic. Saleh, who had his permanent residency revoked in 2017 due to false marriage claims, appeared in Parramatta Local Court, denying the allegations. Despite concerns raised by Daoud about Saleh’s continued presence in Australia, Immigration Minister Tony Burke has not yet responded to inquiries regarding the situation.
