Alexei Popyrin achieved a significant milestone by reaching the third round of the French Open for the first time, defeating Chilean Alejandro Tabilo 7-5, 6-3, 6-4, without dropping a set. In contrast, Ajla Tomljanovic faced disappointment as she lost to No. 4 seed Jasmine Paolini 6-3, 6-3, despite a spirited effort in the second set. Popyrin’s attacking style and strong performance, including 37 winners and six breaks of serve, marked his best run at Roland Garros, while Tomljanovic struggled against Paolini’s aggressive play.
