New footage has emerged showing police dragging a 53-year-old man from his car after he crashed into a crowd during Liverpool’s Premier League victory parade, injuring 65 people, including four children. The driver, suspected to be under the influence of drugs, had reportedly tailgated an ambulance before the incident, which left many bystanders screaming and scrambling to assist the victims. Assistant Chief Constable Jenny Sims confirmed there was no intelligence to suggest such an incident could occur, while multiple victims continue to receive treatment in hospitals.
