Huge fire engulfs £4,500,000 Grade II mansion on Millionaires’ Row

A fire broke out shortly after 1am at Hollybush House, a historic Georgian mansion in Barnet, north London, where over 70 firefighters are battling the blaze. The Grade II-listed property, currently under refurbishment, is at risk of total destruction, with flames engulfing the roof and both floors, although no injuries have been reported. Built in the late 18th century and set on 2.23 acres, the mansion sold for £4.5 million in 2020, with surrounding properties averaging £1.75 million in 2022, significantly higher than the UK average.
