Catalya Remana Tangimetua Pepene, a 3-year-old girl, was allegedly murdered by a 45-year-old man in Kaikohe, Northland. The man has been charged with murder and is set to appear in the Kaikohe District Court. In the wake of her tragic death, police are continuing their investigations while Victim Support assists the grieving family and community as they remember the toddler, who passed away last Wednesday after being found unresponsive at an address on Tawanui Rd.
