Auckland Transport bus destroyed by fire in Epsom

A fire destroyed a bus in the Auckland suburb of Epsom on the evening of the incident, with reports received around 6.10pm about a bus on fire at the corner of The Drive and Empire Rd. Fire and Emergency services dispatched two crews to the scene, where they found the fire significantly involved. The bus was operating on the 295 route from the City Centre to Ellerslie at the time of the fire, according to an Auckland Transport spokesperson.
