‘Hero’ Dave Chester died ‘helping firefighters’ in Bicester fire that killed two others

Dave Chester, a 57-year-old father-of-two from Bicester, died heroically in a fire at Bicester Motion while assisting firefighters in distress. His family described him as “the most amazing man” and emphasized his dedication to helping others, stating he was known for his caring nature and quirky humor. In the incident, two firefighters, Jennie Logan and Martyn Sadler, also lost their lives, while two others remain hospitalized with serious injuries.
