India has identified 10 highway segments for the exclusive use of zero-emission trucks (ZET) to aid in decarbonizing the logistics sector and achieving climate goals. These corridors will serve as pilots for ZET deployment, supported by a ₹500 crore investment under the PM E-DRIVE scheme, and will enhance energy security and public health. The chosen routes, which include Delhi-Chandigarh and Bengaluru-Chennai, were selected based on thorough assessments of traffic, industrial activity, and infrastructure readiness.
