Spark has confirmed in an NZX filing that it will outsource jobs to its mobile network partner Nokia, a development first reported by the Herald. The company acknowledged a net reduction of at least 80 roles due to this changeover but emphasized the importance of maintaining a strong local presence and critical capabilities within New Zealand. Nokia, a significant player in mobile networking infrastructure, operates outsourcing centers in two Indian cities for its global clients.
