Spark has announced that it is nearing a significant outsourcing deal impacting its networking and operations team, though the company has not disclosed the number of positions affected. Sources indicate that a potential agreement with Nokia could lead to the elimination of 200 jobs, with many roles replaced by workers in India and AI technology, leaving only 14 in-house positions. A Spark spokeswoman refrained from confirming specifics, stating that the figures regarding role reductions and remaining positions are incorrect, yet the Herald suggests the estimates may be accurate.
