OpenAI’s flagship GPT-4.1 model is now in ChatGPT

OpenAI has begun rolling out its latest multimodal AI models, GPT-4.1 and GPT-4.1 mini, to ChatGPT, available for Plus, Pro, and Team users, while free users will be excluded initially. Both models are optimized for coding and instruction following, supporting a context token window of one million, significantly surpassing previous limits, and feature improved speed for everyday tasks. Additionally, GPT-4.1 mini will replace the prior GPT-4o mini as the default for all users, though the GPT-4.1 nano model remains unavailable for general access at this time.
