The NCAA Reno Regional’s first round at Montreux Golf and Country Club has been delayed due to high winds, with sustained speeds exceeding 35 mph and gusts nearing 70 mph. Coaches anticipate a shotgun start at 4 p.m. local time, allowing for the completion of 54 holes by Wednesday, as weather conditions are expected to improve. Texas leads the 14-team field, followed by Virginia, Alabama, Duke, Mississippi State, and BYU, while play at other regionals across the country is already underway.
