SINGAPORE: Loh Kean Yew clinched his first title in 14 months at the Taipei Open, defeating home favorite Chou Tien-chen in the men’s singles final with a score of 21-14, 15-21, 22-20 after 69 minutes. This victory marked Loh’s fourth BWF World Tour title and improved his head-to-head record against Chou to 4-4. In the women’s singles final, Japan’s Tomoka Miyazaki triumphed over Thailand’s Pitchamon Opatniputh, securing her third BWF World Tour title.
