Motorway death: One dead after crash between motorcyclist and car in Auckland

One person has died following a crash involving a car and motorbike on Auckland’s Southern Motorway, which resulted in the temporary closure of northbound lanes from Market Rd for over two hours. The motorcyclist was transported to the hospital in critical condition but tragically passed away shortly after the incident. Police confirmed the motorcyclist’s death shortly before 6pm.
